Computer literacy has become a necessity for all who interact with others. Word Processing is one of the key factors when it comes to computer literacy. Businesses and most organizations make use of word processors to communicate, administer and co-ordinate daily tasks and activities. To prepare professional looking documents, participants need more than just the basic knowledge of Word.

Purpose of the course:

This short course aims to equip participants with a level above basic knowledge and understanding of Word, e.g. tables, graphs pictures; and formatting of pages.

Assessment Criteria

  After completion of this course, participants will: Participant will be assessed on the following criteria:
  1. Save documents in different formats;
  2. Insert and format tables, graphs, pictures and pages;
  3. Find and replace text

Method of assessment: 
Learning objectives will be accomplished through the successful completion of assignments and participation in short course activities, proving insight into the topics at hand.
