This programme is company specific. The NWU is recognised among the leaders in the fields of leadership and management and is ideally suited to deliver this programme in partnership with thinking fusion AFRICA.
The purpose of the short learning programme is to benefit the participants, their followers, and the broader community in the following ways: They will be leaders that lead within the work environment and in the community taking diversity and the impact of power into consideration, leading to informed intelligence. They will have gained skills and knowledge with regard to themselves and leadership in general. This will lead them to behave and responding differently to people challenges. They will have skills that can be transferred to leadership roles within the community and lower down into the organisation. They will gain advanced knowledge, read extensively on leadership and related matters, develop new thinking and debating skills, master new leadership and interpersonal behaviour skills, improve their communication skills and become coaching leaders. Their self-mastery and self-leadership will be strong and will be anchored in sound self-knowledge and interpersonal skills. They will have mastered leadership knowledge regarding giving direction, planting and growing a new culture, leading change and transformation through which they will differentiate themselves and contribute positively to their leadership role.
Candidates will be in senior managerial or senior specialist roles.

The participants should possess a former qualification at NQF 5 or 6, or RPL at this level. Participants will be in senior managerial or senior specialist roles.

Three assessments of both the programme and the facilitators take place. One assessment after the launch and first two-day session, then again halfway through the programme and again at completion of the programme
Method of assessment:
Four well-designed projects within each of the four leader zones of influence provide the evidence of applied leadership learning and support integrated learning. Work on the projects is done progressively during the programmes culminating in a completed portfolio of evidence submitted shortly after or on the final day of the programmes. Assessments consist of a total of additional material (total marks remain 600). Percentage (below 65% is below standard, 65-79% on standard, 80% and above is above standard)
Mode of delivery:
Senior managers and senior specialists in medium to large organisations. They are mostly already graduated in non-business management and leadership fields of study.
