The purpose of the course is to enable participants to communicate in basic conversational Tswana in social and other situations.

- Read and comprehend basic Tswana texts - Answer comprehension questions on a basic Tswana text
 - Comprehend and explain basic aspects of Tswana culture - Explain and appreciate aspects of Tswana culture
