Teaching of needed skills to community based paralegals and paralegals in the employment of Legal Aid South Africa to assist in affordable access to justice for communities.

Module 1: THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT (CPA)

On completion of this module, the learner should be able to demonstrate a well-rounded and systematic knowledge base of the law relating to consumer protection of the Consumer Protection Act.

At the end of the module the learner will be expected to demonstrate the ability to apply the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act to a given set of facts.
